The last movement in Charles Norman Mason's Coconut Grove Suite, "COCOWALK" for solo harp and soundscape was inspired by this community gathering spot (and shopping area) in the heart of Coconut Grove. The accompanying soundscape features sounds of fountains, people talking and enjoying each other's company, and the energy of the community. Written in 2023 for Laura Sherman who commissioned the four-movement work thanks to a grant from the American Harp Society.
